Y.O.U. Partners with Mayor Jackson’s Violence Reduction Initiative
Y.O.U. and Mayor Frank Jackson have partnered to add more jobs and create more opportunities for teens and young adults in Cleveland. It’s all part of the City of Cleveland and Mayor Jackson’s initiative to reduce violence and crime through the Office of Prevention, Intervention and Opportunity for Youth and Young Adults.

Y.O.U. Awarded Funds for Summer Youth Employment From JPMorgan Chase
Y.O.U. was one of 19 organizations from across the country that received funding from JPMorgan Chase. The award is part of the corporation's $17 million, five-year commitment to U.S. cities working to increase the number of teens with access to quality summer work experiences that put them on a path to greater self-sufficiency.
Pablo Arredondo Named 2017 E CITY Young Entrepreneur of the Year
Pablo Arredondo, CEO of Whisker Wear, was named the 2017 Young Entrepreneur of the Year. Whisker Wear is a slip-on dog or cat collar cover with a snap-on bow tie or flower accessory. Arredondo, a sophomore at Thomas W. Harvey High School, will now prepare to present his business in New York City at the NFTE (Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship) National Competition.

The Young Entrepreneur of the Year will come from E CITY
As the academic year begins to wind down, the E CITY students are preparing their pitches for the E CITY Young Entrepreneur of the Year Competition. The preliminary round, in classrooms around Northeast Ohio begins in April, when entrepreneurs contend for their school’s top spot, and ultimately, the chance to move on to the final NEO-based round of competition.
'Road to NYC': E CITY Winner Prepares for NFTE Competition
This past May, Kyndra Collins earned the title of E CITY Young Entrepreneur of the Year and will compete in the NFTE 2016 Youth Entrepreneurship Challenge. Kyndra is CEO of Motion, selling all-natural body wash with 24-hour moisturizing capabilities.
2016 E CITY finalists present to crowd at Ernst & Young
On May 16, 2016 E CITY students from seven local schools in Cleveland, East Cleveland, and Painesville, competed for title of Y.O.U.'s E CITY Young Entrepreneur of the Year at Ernst & Young. Throughout the day, students showcased their business ideas with PowerPoint presentations and product demonstrations, and answered tough questions from the judges.
