Hundreds of high school students attend Summer Job Fair

Last week hundreds of Northeast Ohio high school students got the opportunity to interview with Cedar Point, Kalahari, Cleveland Indians, and Delaware North Sportservice during our Summer Job Fair at Maple Heights High School. More than 65 students were hired on the spot by Cedar Point who conducted engaging group interviews to learn more about participants. "We are so excited to have had this opportunity. A lot of people are unaware of the perks that we provide. Happy to offer so many deserving students opportunities this afternoon," said Cedar Point Director of Recruiting Kim Francesangelo.

Students left excited and hopeful about the prospect of returning this summer to start work. “Today was good, we got a lot of opportunities to kids that needed them,” said Howard Pack, Y.O.U. Employment Specialist. “I’m so happy, I didn't believe I would come here and get hired on the spot. I can stay there too,” said Cleveland Heights High School Senior Keisha Heard. Cedar Point offers room and board and several other amenities for seasonal employees.

Summer Job Fair employers interviewed students from, South Euclid, Berea, Warrensville Heights, Cleveland Heights and several other Northeast Ohio area high schools. Y.O.U. will host another job fair for Cleveland students on March 18. Students 18 and over interested in employment with Cedar Point can click here.
