Y.O.U. Named Cleveland Indians' Larry Doby Youth Fund Grant Recipient

Y.O.U. was one of 18 organizations that received funding from the Cleveland Indians as part of their effort to honor Larry Doby and reduce youth violence in our community.

Y.O.U. was awarded $100,000 for summer job opportunities in 2017 and 2018 for City of Cleveland youth.

Larry Doby was the first African-American to play in the American League and the second behind Jackie Robinson to break Major League Baseball's color barrier.

* Friends of Breakthrough Schools: Support for 11 high-performing charter schools.

* Golden Ciphers: Out of school time programs.

* Lutheran Metropolitan Ministry: Health and crime-prevention education programs.
