Summer Jobs for High School Students in Cuyahoga County
The application for the 2026 SYEP program is now closed. We have received over 8,000 applications for 2,200 positions this summer. Those who are selected for employment will hear from Y.O.U. via email and text by May 8th.
Since 1982, Y.O.U. has employed thousands of youth in Cuyahoga County. If you’re in 8th through 12th grade, let us help you find work this summer so you can learn and earn some money!

Applications for the Summer Jobs Program are open from Feb. 1 through May 1.
If selected, work experiences typically start in mid-June and run for six weeks. The pay rate is $13.50 per hour for 20-25 hours per week.
