Job Readiness Training
Participate in classes to help you perfect those important “soft skills” identified by local employers, work on your resume, and practice job interview skills.
Paid Work Experiences
Participants are provided a 4-6 week work experience with a local employer that aligns with your career pathway of interest. You will work 24 hours per week and earn $13 per hour.
Credential Training
We offer short-term classes that prepare participants to earn credentials in one of four areas: Customer Care (Call Center focus), Construction, Healthcare (STNA), and Information Technology. Our data is showing us that our participants who have earned a credential are earning at least $1 more when hired than those who didn’t earn a credential.
Job Club and Job Search Support
After completing the program, participants are invited to attend our Job Club, which is lead by our Employment Specialists. Every two weeks this team meets with our participants to practice interviewing skills and provide job opportunities.
Case Management Support
Throughout the program you will be paired with a case manager who will help you make decisions about career pathways and help you address barriers to your success. The case manager will stay connected to you for one year after you find employment so you can reach out for advice and support as you learn your new job and identify how you want to advance in your career.
