Kierra sits down with Youth Opportunities Unlimited's James Hardiman and Missy Toms about their organization's mission. James Hardiman celebrates Y.O.U.’s unique place “at the intersection of kids and jobs. [After 40 years] we’ve helped 160,000 kids earn more than 60 million dollars.”

Kierra congratulates Y.O.U. on being a recipient of a TEGNA grant. Every year WKYC awards a handful of outstanding nonprofits a community grant. The community grants aim to make a positive difference by addressing pressing needs, especially in the areas of education, literacy, workforce development and the environment. Y.O.U. is grateful to be one of the honorees for 2022.
