Craig Dorn Named President & CEO
Vision for the Future: Building Momentum with a Fresh Approach
Craig Dorn has been named President and CEO of Y.O.U. Formerly a VP with the organization, Craig comes to the table with 20 years of Y.O.U. knowledge, experience, and history. His vision for the organization is to build on the momentum of our past successes with a fresh approach. A Cleveland native, Dorn credits his mother for teaching him that education was his ticket out of poverty. He not only took that to heart personally but continues to dedicate his career to providing the same opportunities to economically disadvantaged youth.
“Y.O.U. has demonstrated the ability to help teens and young adults achieve workforce readiness. Now the big opportunity is to do even more for older youth (young adults), take our best practices to scale, and work with our partners so that the number of disengaged youth in Cuyahoga County [continues to decline].”
When asked by Crain’s Cleveland Business, “What keeps you interested in this work?” he replied, “Every day is different, every challenge can be overcome, and keeping an eye on the prize — youth on a path to economic self-sufficiency. I am doing my part in my beloved hometown to get there.”
