The Cleveland Leadership Center has named 66 people from public, private and nonprofit sectors as members of its Leadership Cleveland class of 2022.

The 10-month Leadership Cleveland program "challenges senior-level leaders who have a passion for Cleveland to act on pressing community issues. The program provides unique and meaningful opportunities for conversations and experiences that build knowledge, skills, and relationships," the Cleveland Leadership Center said in a news release. Class members were "selected through a highly competitive application process. The deep candidate pool included many established leaders eager to build on their professional, civic, and leadership roles," according to the release.

The program year begins with a retreat in September. A class trip in May 2022, to an area selected by the class, allows participants to learn from successful civic engagement efforts elsewhere in the country. When they graduate in June 2022, the participants will join more than 2,500 community leaders who have completed Leadership Cleveland in its past 43 years, the release stated.
