Generation Z, or "Gen Z" is roughly defined as somebody born between 1997 to 2012. And they are coming of age. In Florida, Maxwell Frost became the first Gen Z elected to Congress. And a recent analysis by the Center for American Progress uncovered that Gen Z is the "Most Pro-Union" generation--driving a wave of unionization across major corporations, nonprofits, and college campuses.
Experts are now trying to understand Gen Z in the workforce, and are asking some of the same questions asked of Millennials just under 15 years ago: What are the most important factors that will attract and retain younger workers? And what can we expect to be shifted around workplace culture? Answering these questions, and more, is a panel of Gen Z voices, in conversation with Grace Heffernan with the Northeast Ohio Worker's Center.
Join us at the Happy Dog in Gordon Square as we are "Taken Over" by Gen Z, and learn straight from the source, how we can all best support the literal future of work.
